Medical Director & Founder, CAS Medicine
Dr. Carol Currier brings more than five decades of medical expertise and a lifelong commitment to her patients. After training in ophthalmology and earning a Master of Public Health, she transitioned her focus to occupational and preventive medicine — ultimately founding Currier Addiction Services (CAS Medicine) in 2016 to address the growing need for evidence-based addiction care in Northern Virginia.
Dr. Currier is board-certified in both Occupational & Environmental Medicine and Addiction Medicine through the American Board of Preventive Medicine, and holds an active certification from the American Board of Addiction Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and a Diplomate of the American College of Preventive Medicine.
Beyond her practice, Dr. Currier has dedicated her career to serving communities in need, providing medical care in Nicaragua and Ecuador. Her approach combines rigorous clinical excellence with genuine compassion — treating every patient with the respect and dignity they deserve on their path to recovery.
